IRS, DOL and HHS Issue New Claims Rules for Group Health Plans

The Internal Revenue Service, the Department of Labor's Employee Benefits Security Administration, and the Department of Health and Human Services issued today interim and final rules for group health plans and health insurance issuers relating to internal claims and appeals and external review processes under the Patient and Affordable Care Act.
